By purchasing or downloading any pattern from Hooklume (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree, please do not use our products or services.
1. Digital Products
All Hooklume products are digital files delivered by instant download. No physical items are shipped. By completing your purchase, you receive a licence to download and use the pattern file for personal and small commercial use.
2. Licence & Permitted Use
Your purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:
- Create finished physical items from the pattern for personal use and for sale.
- Print and store a personal copy of the PDF.
You may not share, resell, redistribute, or re-publish the PDF pattern or its contents in any form. One licence is for one buyer only.
3. Intellectual Property
All patterns, text, photographs, and design elements on hooklume.com are the intellectual property of Hooklume. You may not reproduce or distribute them without written permission.
4. Limitation of Liability
Hooklume patterns are provided for informational and creative purposes. We cannot be held responsible for outcomes resulting from pattern use, including yarn or materials costs.
5. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Hooklume products constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.

Information We Collect
- Name and email address when you make a purchase or sign up to our newsletter.
- Transaction data (order details, download history) processed by our payment provider, Gumroad.

How We Use Your Information
- To deliver your purchased digital files.

Third-Party Services
Hooklume uses Gumroad for payment processing and digital delivery. Gumroad's own privacy policy governs their handling of your data. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Data Retention & Your Rights
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@hooklume.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Refund Policy
Because our products are digital files that are delivered instantly upon purchase, we generally do not offer refunds once a file has been downloaded.
Exceptions
We will happily provide a full refund or replacement in the following situations:
- You were charged but did not receive a download link (contact us within 7 days).
- The file is corrupted or unreadable and we are unable to provide a working replacement.
- You were accidentally charged twice for the same item.
How to Request a Refund
Email us at hello@hooklume.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We respond within 24 hours and aim to resolve all issues fairly and quickly.

Skill & Materials
While we strive to write patterns that work as described, crochet outcomes vary depending on your yarn weight, hook size, tension, and skill level. Hooklume is not responsible for differences in finished item size or appearance.

You may sell finished physical items made from our patterns. However, you may not sell, share, or distribute the PDF pattern itself.
No Warranty
Hooklume patterns are provided “as is.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the fitness of any pattern for a particular purpose. Use at your own creative discretion.
